Syndicate 2000 is a non-marine sub-syndicate of QBE Syndicate 2999 with a gross written premium of £75m for the 2010 underwriting year.
Syndicate 2000 is a non-marine property syndicate managed by QBE Underwriting Limited, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the QBE Insurance Group and is headed by Ash Bathia as Chief Underwriting Officer, Property, Casualty & Motor division.
From 1 January 2012 all direct property risks (including direct and facultative and binder business) will be written by QBE Property, Casualty and Motor Syndicate 1886. For more information, please click here.
2010 Gross Written Premium Split
Syndicate 2000 forms part of Umbrella Syndicate 2999, writing over £1.0 billion of gross income in 2010. The syndicate is managed by QBE Underwriting Limited, being one of the largest managing agents at Lloyd's. QBE Underwriting Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the QBE Insurance Group, who provide 100% of the syndicate's capacity.
