Underwriting

QBE underwriting is organised into three Division.

Property, Casualty and Motor

Property, Casualty and Motor Division is led by Ash Bathia. Finlay Smith and Peter Fice will head the respective accounts for UK & European Property, and London Market and International (Lloyd’s) Property; Professional and Financial Lines will be under David Harries, with General liability under Chris Bell (International) and Craig Bennett (UK and Ireland); Motor is under Matthew Crane.

Marine, Energy and Aviation

Under Colin O’Farrell, Marine and Energy brings together QBE Syndicate 1036 and British Marine Limited. Robert Johnston has responsibility for market, client and distribution activities across the division. Emilio Di Silvio heads up the Aviation division.

Reinsurance

Jonathan Parry’s Reinsurance division provides an umbrella for the current reinsurance business.
