"We have been using the Minor Incident Management Service (MIMS) since 2009. This has proved to be very successful in helping NFT reduce the number of lost days due to accidents at work, with a corresponding reduction in costs. It also provides treatment for injured workers and helps them to recover more quickly. Providing early intervention to injured employees has had a number of distinct advantages for NFT. It protects against the risk of a claim, it provides for rigorous management of difficult cases which have the potential to increase in value and it has led to the reduction in costs for NFT caused by an injured worker’s absence.
